I have just spoken with a journalist who want to run a story on the NICE issue. If there are any patients who live in the Greater Manchester area (and including North Cheshire) and whos doctor feels they might need either 2nd generation drug in the near future then please contact me and I will put you in touch with this journalist. She is already in contact with a locally based patient who is on dasatinib and she will go ahead and publish her article on Monday, but i am sure this story will run and run... so she might be interested in taking it further if she can identify someone who might need the drugs but is in danger of not being able to access them...
