Recently I had my blood counts done everything was good. However it was discovered that my phosphate count was low. I have been given medication to try and bring the levels up has anyone else had the same problem?

Hi Joe,
I am not sure what low phosphates would mean... high counts would mean stress on the liver..... see explanation of blood counts etc. on the FAQ/glossary on the main menu... link to explanation of liver function tests here:

Following a thread there, I took a look at this because of the possible link with "bone pain"...what I 'think' I'm reading is that a low Phosphate count will often be accompanied by a low electrolyte count. That being the case, then Magnesium and Vitamin D may be helpful.
Prescription for a week in the sun would be extremely helpful too!!
