Fund raising for Leuka - Mount Kilimanjaro climb

I hope you don’t mind us writing a begging post.

Val’s two sons, James and Ian, are going to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, 19,341 feet, in September this year to raise money for Leuka. Leuka funds life-saving research into causes and cures for leukaemia at the Hammersmith Hospital in London where Val is treated for her CML. Their aim is to raise £10,000 for a charity that is very close to our hearts.

If you feel able to support them, please visit their charity web page at Cruickshanks Kilimanjaro Just Giving Site and make a donation. If you don’t, that’s fine too.

Thanks.

David

What a fantastic effort! Good luck to your sons and I hope they have fun whilst raising as much money for Leuka as possible.

Thank you so much. I am sure they will have fun but, as you may know, this is not an easy challenge, with the risk of altitude sickness and the need to carry oxygen. I feel confident they will raise their £10,000 target (and probably more). Every contribution helps them to get to the £10,000.

Thanks again.
