Hi all, had my first results since starting Gleevec today and my Haematologist said I had a 0.5 log reduction but didn't have the figures with him ?!?! He said he was looking for continued reduction over 18 months - 24 months and that the results just showed the Glivec has started working and were positive.
I take it this is a good sign as he has now changed my appointments to every 3 months from 1 month for teh first 5 months.
Any advice would be gratefully recived

Welcome to the club that nobody really wants to be a member of.
I would make sure that you get a copy of all your test results. It will allpw you to follow your progress. They are very easy to read once you have seen two results side by side.
