BCR/ABL Results

Hi

Just had my lastest test results which are 0.029%. Exactly two years since dx. Went to an eye specialist yesterday as I have a problem with my left eye.  I am afraid it's old age and nothing sinister. Happy and sad about this. Still on 400mg Glivec with minimal side effects. Wishing you all well.

Tony

Hi Tony,

I'm really pleased to hear of your ongoing great test results.  I'll be raising a glass of wine (rose of course) to you and Glivec this weekend!  Shame about the eye but a relief that it is not sinister.

All the best

Cathy

Congrats - thats an excellent result!  I'll also be toasting you tonight with 0% beer.  Let hope we are also toasting a 4-0 victory in the footy ;-)

Hi Tony,

Great results!  Celebrate, and good look with your future results, You are now chasing 0's.  Take care of that eye.

Warmest Regards,

Don

My son was dx'd on 5-22-2008.  He's had a 3 log reduction, but has only reached .071 on PCR.  Both you and he are quite low - but you're a little better!  It's great news.

I wish you all the best in life.

Tracey

Thanks for you really supportive replies. My eye seems a little better.  Liver function tests normal so a couple of G&T's tonight methinks.  Shame about the footy Lynn.  It's good to be a member of our very very exclusive club.

Hi Tony..... I am just back from the New Horizons CML/GIST patient advocate meeting in Vienna so I am a little late in congratulating you, but I would like to wish you many more zero's in future. Congratulations Tony.

The problem with your eye being due to 'old' age- well! what can I say, I agree that one of the most frustrating things about getting older is the loss of sharpness of vision. But still.... you have a lot to celebrate.

Best wishes,

Sandy
