You are here

100 days post transplant

And I find the donor cells gave me a extra gift ,glandular fever (epstein barr virus) which has led me to have Hodgekin lymphoma,So now I have a Cancer that is curable alongside retreating CML.

Plus a 70% body rash due to Graft v Host which I am having a quick burst of steriods to clear and I mean quick.(steriods will deal with the rash but will boost the Lymphoma.)

But hey I am well enougth moan about it and still think the transplant was the way to go.

Keep healthy my friends.

Michael

Dear Michael.... good to hear that you have reached such an important milestone. 100 days and counting. It seems that you are doing well in spite of the extras like Hodgkins Lymphoma! But as you say- it is one of the more curable haematological malignancies.

Keep going- it will all get better I am sure ;o)

best to you,

Sandy

Hi Michael,

Keep that attitude and you will conquer both diseases.  Congrats on your 100 day milestone!

Wishing you healing thoughts,

Don
