TV Interview - Look North Tyne Tees

Tomorrow (Thursday) I'll be interviewed by BBC Look North (Tyne Tees Region) regarding the NICE decision.  Ill be giving my story and I know the presenter is currently researching the situation with NICE and my local PCT.

As I understand, the interview will be broadcast on Friday or Monday.  Anyone with Sky TV will be able to view if you can find the right BBC channel (I think its up on the 900's somewhere).  I'll confirm when it'll be on when they confirm.

Hi there,
I am also in the north east region, and am obviously very interested in this being shown on our regional news channels, if the presenter needs another patients input I would be happy to give it. I can forward my contact details if you mail me on arrowsc@msn.com.
Regards,
Craig

Hi Craig,

are you being refused 2nd line?

Sandy

Hi Sandy, no I am doing very well ( undetectable ) on Imatinib after 6 years, but I thought I could offer another patients perspective and thoughts on the issue.
Kind Regards,
Craig

By the sounds of things, the presenter is hoping to have the piece going out on tonights programme @ 6.30pm (Thursday).  It'll be tight to edit it in time but fingers crossed.

Not tonight now, the crew has been diverted to cover a big fire, trying to organise another time as we speak.

Provisionally now being interviewed on Monday

I'm also in the NE, and am seeing my MP Phil Wilson (Sedgefield) tomorrow. If there's any value in having more people involved please let me know. Currently I'm PCRU on Imatinib but am going to MP with the line that if I develop resistance to Imatinib I'll have to move to my parents house in Scotland and get one the newer drugs there!

The article is being shown TONIGHT (Monday) at 6.30pm BBC1 North East. It's available on Sky Channel 975 if you are in a different region.
