Hope your all well. I have had my first PCR back today which was taken end of May 2011.
Feb 2011- 96%
May 2011-36%
Can i ask i know that it is coming down and i am really happy with that result but i don't feel i know enough. Is the above a good result and also does it look like it is coming down fast enough? As i can see it''s a 60% reduction from when i was diagnosed so i am assuming that its really good news.

Be very happy, with CML doctors like to see trends so lets hope your next results are as good.

sounds that all is going well, when i was dianosed 2007 prof clark at liverpool royal explained it like this, your around 100% at start of treatment at twelve months in you would want to be around 1% the following year you would aim for 0.00 or very near, responce rate is also dependent on dosage the higher dose the faster responce, i am on 800mg gleevic and hit 1% after 4 months am told thats fast and been at 0.00 for 3 years, it sounds as your on course but remember the levels come down slower as you near 1% my only question is how are you managing the side effects those took me longer to get used to,
