Patient Support Group Meeting at Hammersmith Hospital

The next meeting of the Hammersmith Leukaemia Patient/Carers Support Group will be on Saturday 7th January 2012,
10am for 10.30am – 1.00pm.
We hope that you will be able to attend.
This is very informal and the purpose of this meeting is for leukaemia patients and/or their carers to meet with others who know what it is like to live with leukaemia. Although this is run at Hammersmith. Leukaemia patients/carers from other hospitals are welcome to attend as are those suffering with other blood disorders. Any newly diagnosed patients are extremely welcome.

The Eminent Professor John Goldman, the “KING” of CML will be our guest speaker.
As this will be a very popular meeting, I would ask that you email Elizabeth at elizrees@gmail.com to confirm your place if you have not already done so.

This group is run in collaboration with the Hammersmith Support Nurses and support of the Hammersmith team.
Tea, Coffee & Soft drinks will be provided courtesy of the Gary Allen Fund. The date of the next meeting will be posted after we meet on Saturday 7th January 2012.

Thanks for asking about the Patient/Carer Meeting at Hammersmith on Saturday 7th January 2012. Anyone can attend our meetings patients & carers welcome but this meeting in particular is proving to be very popular as Prof John Goldman "King of CML" is out guest speaker so places are limited & we are nearly at our limit of places but if you wish to attend if you could email me ASAP if possible by the latest Tuesday 13th December we may just have space for another few places but we would need to know for certain as there has been a high demand for this meeting so you would have to confirm how many places you wanted then I would get back to you with a confirmation providing we haven't gone over numbers for the meeting.

We meet every 3 months & have a guest speaker & normally we don't have the need to restrict places but for this particular meeting becase of Prof John Goldman speaking there has as you can imagine been a high demand. If you can get back to me ASAP I am sure that we could accomodate you depending on how many places you wanted.
