Cannot really believe that it was 5 years ago to the day that my GP told me had CML. So much as changed, so much has stayed the same.
Just wanted to thank everyone on here for there support over what feels like a very short 5 years :)

Dear Rob,
We have December in common as the month of diagnosis. Mine was the 4th- and I must thank you for reminding me. Because of your post I have just realised that I missed remembering that milestone this year! so I will make sure that I celebrate 13 years survival this weekend!
I am really pleased to read that you are responding well to dasatinib and that your quality of life has improved so much.... notwithstanding the few side effects you mention. Maybe an electric blanket for xmas?
Congratulations on your 5 year milestone- your blog is an encouragment to all of us and I am sure is especially helpful for the newly diagnosed.
best wishes,
sandy
