Spam

I agree- it seems so cynical doesn't it. However, since our worst ever spam hit- last summer- Roger, our web manager - instigated a new spam filter system which works very well.

As and when I notice a spammer I just report the post and poster to the anti spam company and it is auto deleted and the person who posted is automatically blocked as a user. It is much less work for me and works pretty well. Of course determined human spammers do get through but it is more difficult for them to go undected.

I have deleted and reported the the culprit who's post you refer to from the thread below- that person is now blocked from posting.
