Hi all, Pleased to say after a little blip few months ago and a rise in PCR from 0.4 to 0.6 then back to 0.4 again, we discussed changing from Imatinib with my consultant to Nilotinib, I don't really want to as feel very well and no real side effects, anyway agreed a new PCR and it came back yesterday at 0.2%. So pleased and thanks o Prof Craddock at Birmingham for his help as always. This is at 19 months so not quite MMR but very close, hope to be there next PCR.
Anyway hope this helps others that are doing well but not flying, Imatinib is a great drug, although possibly slower this rush to the new guidelines is not always for everyone, I was 24% at 3 months ! We will get there in the end and well past MMR hopefully. Thanks Sandy and all.
Nigel
