Not necessarily not “real” - but it’s a mouse study, so a long way away from common in clinic.
All the same, there are upcoming trials that will look to combine other drugs (Tazemetostat or Idasanutlin) with TKIs to attack stem cells. This is in humans though, so much more relevant to current CML patients.
