My boyfriend has been on sprycel for a year but now has had severe swelling in his man area as well as tongue. Per ER he was to stop his med and see doctor this week, he has not taken the med since friday about 2days but now his fingers are swelling? How long does it stay in your system? Has anyone else experienced this?

I am not sure about dasatinib, but imatinib takes about 5-7 days to almost fully wash out of your system.
But dasatinib has a shorter half-life of about 3-5 hours and I have read that the wash-out period is more like 72 hours. So once that time has passed, you'd hope to see any associated symptoms to start to reduce.
