I just thought I would share that my antibody test results came back positive today. I know I have to be cautious interpreting the results to mean any kind of immunity to COVID 19, but this was some much needed “positive” news for me, and I’m posting in case it gives anyone else some level of reassurance.
My Dr at MSK ordered the test because everyone else in my family is now vaccinated, kids are in school, and I’ll be expected back in the office for work at the end of summer. My WBC has been around 1.5 for my this, my first year after diagnosis and on 50mg Sprycel. My ANC is consistently at .6. I’m grateful for the positive spike protein test even if it doesn’t mean full immunity….I’m taking it to mean a functioning immune system. I was fully vaccinated with Pfizer vaccine February 2021.
