Possible interactions Phizer vaccine with Sprycel?

Nothing to réport with imatanib in any case. You can search forum for my expériences with both sinopharm and pfizer....in case you dont get feedback from sprycel folks.
Prepare so you can rest well the day/night after your vaxine. And avoid having *many* glasses of wine after the shot.... That gave me a cracking headache.
Hi!
In general there is no need for a worry for a possible interaction between a COVID-19 vaccine (or vaccines in general) and a CML drug (or drugs in general). The only concern is whether CML patients have sufficient enough of an immune response due to TKI immunosuppressive effect but the general consensus is (according to my own personal research) that CML patients have a good vaccine response and similar to a non-CML person. Another supportive fact is that since CML is a myeloid malignancy and vaccines stimulate lymphoid cells there is no significant interference.
I am on nilotinib and had AstraZeneca. No concerns except for a headache the next day. Also had a normal antibody response.

I had the pfizer vaccine and take 100mg Sprycel. I didn't have any interactions or issues.
snowman, I take 150mg Tasigna 2x/day. I've had the Moderna vaccinations and a booster last week. (I thought better safe than sorry.) I was far more afraid of having Covid and possibly having side effects from that than I was of very rare side effects from the vaccine itself. Think about the drugs we take now, are they side effect free? Is it still worth it to take the drug? IMHO there is absolutely no doubt. Good luck!
Everything will be fine....drink lots of water,my husband is taking 100 mg sprycel and had both doses, both of us had sore arms for 2 days, long term effect we don't know ,I am from India and having seen the covid situation there,I would recommend taking the vaccine.
