First undetected after 8 years AND dose reduction...

I know its 99% a blip, but it was a pleasant surprise. First test post dose reduction (Tasigna 400mg to 300mg).  Only thing Ive been doing different is trying to get on the SCUBA Vitamin D regime.  I doubt Im really undetected (after this much time) but at least Im holding steady for the dose reductions. Turtle Power!

May be a blip, but it also could be the beginning of a trend.  Anecdotally, many people experience a major downward improvement in their PCR after a drug break and return, especially at a lower dose.  I have yet to see any research addressing this phenomenon, but I've experienced it and I know others have, too.  Another thing to bear in mind, "after all this time" is kind of actually when you might hope for an undetected situation, and 8 years is actually not that long a time.  So, you're not a turtle!  I don't know if the "stem cell exhaustion" theory is still in play, but it might account for the fact that some of us start getting some undetectables at 10 years or more.
