The time is ripe for cancer care to become a global priority. The Max Foundation, help CML patients who do not live in countries where imatinib is reimbursed by their governments and are too poor to pay for therapy. Their work is very important and there are now many CML patients who have access to imatinib.
Now there is an opportunity to support all cancer patients around the world by signing the International Union Against Cancer (UICC)’s World Cancer Declaration.
