Dear All,
the petition is growing and is collecting a lot of international as well as UK signatures. There are very good messages on there and lots of heartfelt support from all over the UK and the from other countries and regions.
Thanks so much to all of you who have signed and sent the link on to others.
We can try to generate as many signatures as possible by March 9th, although I will leave it on there for a few days after the ACD meeting. I intend to deliver it to Health ministers as it will show them that NICE (and therefore the government) are being watched and judged by their own citizens AND that we have the support of many other from around the world.
Please sign as soon as you can and remember to ask as many people as you can for their support.
Also don't forget to register your comments on the NICE website for this new ACD (link is included at the bottom of the Press statement under Newswire.
This is so important as if NICE win the argument then resistant patients are unlikely to be granted any better treatment when the review of imatinib comes up later in the year. They are trying to divide us in order to conquer. Please help to stop them succeeding.
Sandy
I am hoping that NICE will allow me to attend the ACD meeting on March 9th (although I will not be allowed to speak) but I will take a copy of the petition with me.
I have asked if any of you would like to attend the meeting .... it is possible for 2 of us to go. So please let me know asap if you would like to come with me...given that they let me in!
