Urgent request from Daily Mail

Dear All,

I have just had a request from a journalist who is writing an article on lack of adherence to therapy in the CML patient population. She wants to talk with a patient who is willing to talk about their 'drug holidays' and why it might be that they sometimes do not take their drug regularly. She does need someone who actually has taken breaks from therapy and who is willing to say that in print. If you feel you would be willing to talk about your experiences and would be willing to be featured by the DM then please contact Jo Waters directly on: Jo_waters15@hotmail.com  or you can ring her on her mobile: 07971 286 878 at any time up to late tonight- if she does not pick up then leave a message and she will call you back.

She has assured me that this piece will be very sympathetic and will certainly flag up CML to the general population- and maybe we will reach patients who do not know about this group and the support they can get from this and other connected forums.

Jo needs to talk to someone today as the deadline for finishing the article is tomorrow.

Sandy
