Dear Friends,
I wanted to wish you all the first of many International CML Awareness Days. Not sure if it's official yet, but it's a great idea and coincidentally marks the two year anniversary of my diagnosis. Today my thoughts are shared between those on this site for whom CML is a constant trial, physically and mentally; to those sad minority for whom CML is a true disability and a fight they wage for their very lives; for the passionate professionals who work tirelessly to understand and break this disease; and to the newly diagnosed, that they may find comfort and support here and that their CML be an adventure as well as a battle.
I also wanted to pay credit to my wife, with whom I share our fourth wedding anniversary today. Without her love I would not be here, and I long for and look forward to many, many years to come with her and our little daughter.
