Hi Adolfo, and welcome to this forum. Please do not apologise for your English, it is excellent and certainly better than my Portuguese!.
Many people find that a skin rash is one of the side effects - at least initially- of taking nilotinib. To my knowledge, if it does not settle with some kind of hydrocortizone cream or steroid treatment over a few weeks, you might need to take a break for a short time.
Often this is all that is needed to deal with this side effect, and on resuming therapy with nilotinib the rash does not return.
However, it might be that someone else might be better able to clarify how you should deal with this side effect.
It is without doubt that nilotinib and dasatinib as 2nd generation TKIs have an improved efficacy over imatinib. Both drugs are more effective in targeting CML cells and reducing their number significantly, hitting the disease quickly and reducing the PH+ cell to a low molecular level.
You may want to talk with your doctor about how you can deal with the skin rash so that you can either stay on treatment, or if a break is needed to control this side effect, you will need to get back on therapy as soon as possible.
I hope you find this helpful,
Best wishes,
Sandy
