Hi, I am using a Roferon pen to inject the interferon & am having terrible trouble with it. Its not just me as the hospital had trouble with putting in a new cartridge last week when trying to show me how to use it. All a bit hopeless! It may be there is a fault with it as its difficult to adjust when putting in the new cartridge, I wasted 1/2 the liquid yesterday & ended up a blubbering mess, I was so tired & so very frustrated.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Ali,
sounds difficult! It's stressful enough learning the techniques of self-injection without the technology being faulty or difficult to use as well. I suppose the fact that interferon is not really used fro CML that often these days is another problem-
I am sorry I cannot advise you further on this. I have no experience with IFN or the pen injector.
if the hospital had difficulties I think you might request that they try to get a replacement?
