Hi guys
Been on Imatinib for 2 1/2 years now and I'm due to get laser treatment on my eyes next week to sort out rogue veins and bleeding. Does anyone have experience of this and if so, how did it go?

Hi Gary,
I do hope this sorts out the problem with eye bleeds. I have no experience of this kind of therapy so cannot offer any advice. I assume your CML clinician approves?

I have just come back from 2 sunny weeks on Skopelos Island, Greece and feel the benefit of some time off from City life- just relaxing, reading and swimming in the wonderful Mediterranean. Luckily we had a sunny weekend to ease into our return to London, so not too much of a temperature shock.

Thanks for your kind words. your Holiday sounds idyllic and i'm glad you had a nice break. I work as a European Tour Caddy so i travel most weeks to different places in the world but would love a nice break to recharge the batteries.
Will let you know how i get on, my friend is diabetic and he has had the treatment and told me there is nothing to worry about so fingers crossed.
