Hi Guys
I've been on 400mg of Imatinib for 2 1/2 years but have recently been experiencing abdominal pain when i wake up. This seems to pass when i get up and walk around but is really painful and wakes me up.
Anyone else experiencing this? I've been to docs and they've prescribed omzoprazole but this isn't helping.
While i'm on, i might as well mention my dull ache in the kidney area too!

it sounds like you may well have a urinary infection- given you also are having pain in the Kidney area. If your wee is dark yellow in colour (rather than a pale straw colour) then you should see your GP- and also drink as much fluid as you can. A course of antibiotics might be in order?
If not then I am not sure that IM has this as a side effect- but there are so many it might well be. Rule out the UI first then if it persists you might consider talking with your CML doctor about switching to 2G TKI?
