Good to see Prof. Craddock recognised for his work. He was my doctor when I was first diagnosed at Hammersmith Hospital in 1998/9 and was always supportive and sympathetic. His pioneering work on combining 'mini' SCT with TKI therapy enabled me to survive CML when I developed resistance to imatinib - before other TKIs were available. I remain grateful to him for his insight and commitment to leukaemia patients. He is a talented guy and follows in the footsteps of John Goldman with whom he trained.
