Imatinib mesylate is basically a salt. ... meaning it has strong chemical bonds making it quite stable as long as it is "dry".
As such, it is going to last a long time if kept in the bottle, dry and sealed. Drugs of this kind have to have expiration, but reality is, it will probably last a very long time at full potency past expiration sealed in its container. The other TKi's are salts as well (i.e dasatinib).
