I wonder what other people's experiences have been with their eyes. Since diagnosis two years ago I have responded very well to Imatinib but very early on in treatment my eyesight went to pot. I can see everything but I see it double, all the time. It is hard work making out images on television, almost impossible to read signs and often very hard to recognise faces that are only ten feet away. I am so grateful for what Imatinib has done for me but feel it has come at a heavy price. In the last couple of months I have switched to Dasatinib, which comes with a load of new side effects, but with a possibility that the eyes may now correct themselves. Has this worked for other people, and is there a risk of permanent damage if this goes on?
