I am pleased to share with everyone my latest PCR (bcr-abl) PCR test result is: Undetected.
I remain in TFR marking 3 complete years of no TKI drug (dasatinib) since stopping therapy in March 2020.
I had been undetected for 3 years prior to that, but was taking low dose dasatinib (10-20 mg). Stopping drug altogether, however, was my top goal.
I have a PCR test taken every six months and may decide to switch to annual checkups. Even if CML comes back, it is a slow disease at this stage. I am increasingly convinced that my nutrition protocol is keeping CMl in remission.
I think about those whose CML journey is in the early stages and others who struggle to get into MMR. You will get there. Staying vigilant and providing your body with every nutritional tool to augment your immune system is key to helping your TKI do its job and ultimately beat this disease. This is why I continue to research CML and report anything I find that is credible regarding helping others get to TFR.
