Anyone notice a increase in your #s taking Sprycel? My Triglycerides are 333

Was that test done after fasting? Triglyceride tests aren’t at all accurate if not done under fasting conditions.

Rosuvastatin
Excellent for LDL reduction

Only modest effect on triglycerides

Your LDL is extremely low (cholesterol 2.4–3.7), which is expected

Empagliflozin
Often reduces triglycerides slightly

But the effect is small and not always seen in CKD

Dasatinib
TKIs can occasionally nudge lipids upward, but dasatinib is one of the milder ones

Mirabegron / Solifenacin / Tamsulosin / Tadalafil
No meaningful effect on triglycerides

I called Bristol Meyers (Manufacturer) it has been reported Sprycel increased Triglycerides. My Doctor is trying high dosage of Omega Fish Oil 3000-6000 mg
She said she had good results ..We'll see

my triglycerides improved from 240 to 80. I started using a fish oil with DPA in the capsule, normal dose,in addition to the 1-2 capsules krill oil I had been taking. there are articles and AI info lately about DPA helping with triglyceride levels. my lipid profile improved to the best it had been in 3+ years,since the start of my CML diagnosis..

Hi Bob, just wondering if you could share what fish oil you used. My triglycerides have been going up on asciminib and don't want to take a prescription if I can avoid it.

please excuse my 1-finger typing.
I looked up my lipid profile in Dec 2025. my triglycerides improved to 51, my LDL improved from 240 to 180 and hdl improved from lo 50's to mid 60's. over a few years.
I also looked up "supplements to help with triglycerides" and I take fenugreek and berberine to help with my glucose, drink a lot of green tea for ? reason, and green tea,berberine,and fenugreek also help with triglycerides, lipid profile according to online.
so it may be more than the fish oil that helps me. I believe the dpa study is recent.
I am glad to be retired and have time to look all this up. and glad I understood much medical terminology to start.otherwise,I may have accepted a script besides the 3 tki's.
