So what?
A normal range is indicative, guidelines not tramlines. If you hit 20,000 and you are walking around and not half dead in a bed, then you can get worried.
Your docs didn't think there's an issue, you had a reply here so why are you still posting IN CAPs? Have you been compliant to your TKI?
Bodies get slightly elevated wbcs for many reasons, we are constantly fighting off pathogens. Can mean slight viral or fungal infection (i assume no infection means no bacterial infection) or that your body is stressed by something minor like a splinter in your finger. Or nothing at all.
If you freak out every time you get a result like this, the stress will be a problem for your immune system, and that has zero to do with your CML. Work on accepting that you have a condition that has totally normal life span expectations and can be managed even though it can't be cured and has a scary name.

You need to do some work to understand blood parameters, your body and medication. If you are no Willing to put in the work, just do as the doc says.
It took me 4.mins on the internet to understand your case.
Your doc will have access to your medical records, one single point of information on your blood parameters is not very useful. If you truely worry, then plot your blood figures over.time and understand whats normal for you.
Understand that your body will have colds, flus, infections, parasites like any other normal person without cml. It does you no service to panic every time wbc go up.

Vikram, are you saying your local doctor does not know you are taking imatinib? I think that is very unwise, as whatever else he/she prescribes for any other reason could have an interaction. If you don't trust him/her to keep your condition confidential, I suggest you find another doctor who you do trust.

OVER ALL HELTH IS GOOD..
You have no worries bloodwise except that pheniramine and TKI-s have a drug interaction! Pheniramine can increase the stress on your heart the TKI-s are inducing.
Do not worry about your blood counts, they are normal. You have to check with your doctor whether you can continue to take pheniramine. Both imatinib and nilotinib's effect on your heart rhythm may be increased due to pheniramine

Based on the medication prescribed and wbc, the doc thinks you have a minor infection and/or an allergy.
How many people do you need to ask before you believe that based on the information you presented and your own admission of good health that its all fine.
You were diagnosed 13 years ago, your records are really not applicable now. Only bcr/abl recent history.
Take your head out of your blood reports and live your life!
But do tell any doctor who treats you that you take veenat (imatanib) because they need to know.
